Solo Farming with domination (Ettins and Mino)
This topic has started from another one with farming Ettins (Illusion) and I wanted to make sure for everyone who read this know its for Domination (and sure for myself if the build works or not when I tested).
Pure Domination.... surprise eh?
Ok? Are we go!
Signet of Midnight (E)
Epidemic
Spirit Shackle
Mind Wrack
Empathy
Spirit of failure
Diversion/Ignorance/Physical resistance
Ether Feast
How it works: First, cast Spirit of Failure when they are out of the circle of sight, try to get them close enought to do Sig of Mid and Epidemic soon after to make them all blind. Then shoot Empathy on a target of your choice. When the blind is off, cast again Sig of mid and epidemic (be sure the target is adjacant to all others or you're dead). Spirit shackle and Mind Wrack work well with empathy you can remplace them If you want but I prefer to use them too. Spirit of Failure is, off course, your energy source. Mixed with Sig of Mid, you alway get energy per hit. Of course, Ether feast to heal yourself
Ettins - The problems with farming Ettins are: To get them when starting at Bergen Hot Spring or Bettletun. But when you arrive at the place where Ettins are, its will be correct. HEALING SIGNET! . Use Diversion or Ignorance to stop them healing.
Minotaurs: No really problems here except patrol groups if you're already got in a fight with another group. You dont really need Diversion or Ignorance there. So, you can take Physical resistance and deal with them while using the same way above.

Diversion is the key to this build, as it is highly unlikely that it will kill anything if they continue to use their healing signet.
Since it only lasts six seconds, timing of the the diversion cast is critical.

Yah, I must use it when the Ettin lost about 1/6 of his life before casting diversion because they always use their signet at this amount HP and Endure pain after that. I got some messages in game for those who wanted to use this build (Questions in facts). So I put some questions I got the questions and my answers.
Which skill is best for farming Ettins? Diversion or Ignorance?
Answer: The choice is yours. Each they have there own advantages.
Diversion: You can use not only to remove their signet, off course their Irresistible blow, cost 10 and disable the skill for a looong time. But it lasts for 6 seconds
Ignorance: You're sure to get their signet off. Cost 15 and last about 10-20 seconds
Where do you farm Minotaurs when you have tested this build?
Answer: I started at Northen Shiverpeaks to test it (Ice tooth cave). But soon after, I went at the desert for the full test and coming to my conclusion we can farming minotaurs outside of Augury Rock.
Why Physical resistance when you fight minotaurs? They're blind!
Answer: Yes they are still blind, but it doesn't matter they can't hit you after they recover. You dont receive any elemental attacks during farming minotaurs and Physical Resistence last more than 1 minute.
Is it the fastest way to farm?
Answer: I can't tell if it is the fastest way. I wanted to prove it is possible to farm in solo with only a pure domination mesmer.
